Repairing a (corrupt) Word Document
While working on a Word document you get an error message a table or paragraph is corrupt. Follow these steps to repair the document:
- Close the document (you need the Word program open).
- Click Open Document, highlight the document name to be repaired, click on the Open drop-down box, choose Open and Repair (Figure A).
The repaired Word document will open and should be saved.
