The Commerce Learning Center (CLC) is an employee training and development "Learning Management System (LMS)" designed to deliver self-paced on-line courses (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), enroll in "live" instructor-led training (ILT), and maintain a transcript of your training activities. The CLC is available on any internet-connected computer.
The CLC is organized into a 'nested' structure of "Learn Centers". The main Department of Commerce Learning Center is considered the 'parent', while the CLC@NOAA and CLC@NWS are sub-Learn Centers. It is important to be aware of which Learn Center you are in, since the location of classes and courses can vary. See the Quick Navigation on the left for direct links to the various Learn Centers and login instructions.
The CLC is available to all Federal career NOAA employees and approved contractors and associates.
NOAA employees are automatically enrolled in CLC. Contractors and associates are not routinely provided access to the CLC unless required per policy guidelines. See more information on contractors and associates here.
