You must be separated from the Federal service for 31 or more days in order to be eligible for a withdrawal. If you are separated from Federal Service but anticipate being rehired after a break in service of more than 31 full calendar days, see the withdrawal booklet for important information about rehired participants and withdrawal restrictions.

The Thrift Savings Plan Service Office is your contact regarding your TSP account after you leave Federal service.

The TSP Service Office can answer questions about your account and can send you TSP withdrawal materials to supplement the Withdrawal Package provided to you by your agency when you separate from Federal service. Submit all forms directly to the TSP Service Office.
