Also, please make sure that your nomination has been endorsed by the AA/DAS of your Line or Staff Office (a memo from the AA/DAS will satisfy this requirement).

NOTE: Even though some external organizations permit the submission of nominations on-line, bureaus are still required to submit nominations to the Department for review and approval by the Department's Incentive Awards Board before being submitted to the sponsoring organization. This is to ensure that we have an opportunity to conduct a clearance on all nominees and that we only forward to the sponsoring organization high quality nominations which reflect favorably on the Department.
